PR for Hamburg – „Train of Ideas“

 

 

Assignment

As Hamburg was nominated the European green capital 2011, the Hanseatic city was sending the so called „Train of Ideas“ on tour through 18 European countries. The aim of the interactive exhibition was to demonstrate different visions of future cities. Hamburg Marketing was relying on comm:unications for the stopover in Vienna.

 

Achievement

The Exhibition was a big success with more than 2.000 guests and 42 reports in the Austrian media landscape, amongst others with articles in the Kronen Zeitung, Standard and ORF. comm:unications did not only enhance the awareness of sustainable cities, but also reached an advertising value of more than 150.000 Euros.

Event-PR: "Cultures around a table"

 

 

 

Assignment

The aim of the „World Public Forum“ is to support the dialogue among different cultures. For that reason people get together once a year, since 2008, to enjoy cultures and culinary highlights from all over the world.

 

comm:unications recommended to promote the dialogue-enhancing event in the media and to focus on public relations activities. Besides a refreshed design, an “ambassador-dinner” is taking place on the highest diplomatic level. Beyond that greetings in 24 languages welcome the guests and an intercultural cook book, which is free to download, guarantee a sustainable and enjoyable dialogue.

 

Achievement

With more than 5.000 visitors on the spot as well as publicity that reached 800.000 people, the festival was a success on every level. comm:unications is especially pleased that the multicultural dinner has even reached the front pages of famous regional newspapers and magazines.
